Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to the CaloriK app in VK Mini Apps, Telegram Mini Apps, the iOS app, and the Android app. By using the app, the user agrees to these Terms.

1. Service Description

CaloriK helps keep a food diary and receive approximate estimates of calories, meal composition, and nutritional value from text, photos, or voice messages.

2. Not Medical Advice

Information in the app is provided for reference only. CaloriK is not a medical service, dietitian, or substitute for a doctor's consultation. The user independently makes decisions about nutrition, health, and lifestyle.

3. Accuracy of Calculations

Calorie, portion weight, and meal composition calculations are approximate. Actual values may differ due to recipe, portion size, photo quality, user description, and other factors.

5. Free and Paid Features

Some features may be available for free, and some may be available through a subscription or other paid access. Depending on the platform, payments, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds may be governed by the rules of VK, Telegram, Apple App Store, Google Play, RuStore, or another payment provider.

If a purchase is made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or RuStore, subscription management and refunds are usually handled through the respective store.

6. Authentication

VK, Telegram, Google, Apple, or other available authentication methods may be used to sign in to CaloriK. The user is responsible for the security of their account on the selected platform and for complying with that platform's rules.

Revoking access in Google, Apple, VK, or Telegram settings may stop further authorization, but it does not always automatically delete CaloriK data. To delete the account and related data, use the Data Deletion page or the in-app account deletion feature if available.

7. Platforms

CaloriK is an independent service. VK, Telegram, Apple, Google, and RuStore are not parties to these Terms unless expressly required by the rules of the relevant platform. The user must also comply with the rules of the platform through which they use the app.

8. Intellectual Property

The rights to the app name, interface, text, graphics, and software code belong to their respective rights holders. The user receives a limited right to use the app for personal purposes under these Terms.

9. Data and Privacy

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the app, the user confirms that they have read it.

10. Data Deletion

The user may request deletion of the account and related data on the Data Deletion page.

11. Changes or Termination

We may change features, limits, pricing, app availability, or discontinue support for individual capabilities. Where possible, material changes will be reflected in the app interface or on app pages.

12. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, user decisions based on approximate calculations, service unavailability, platform errors by VK, Telegram, Apple, Google, RuStore, or actions of third parties.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The new version becomes effective when published on this page unless stated otherwise.
